Email Settings - Web Mail

If you have your Email hosted by IPBmultimedia, any account created from January 2005 onward will be able to use this free Web based service to check their Email - simply Enter your full Email address and password to gain access to your mail. This service also supports replying:


Email Settings - POP3 Client

The following settings will apply across the board for Outlook 2003 (and other versions), Outlook Express, and any other popular Email clients. These settings should also be used when setting up your Nokia mobile phone, or other handset that supports full POP3 access:

Incoming POP3 Server
mail.yourdomain.co.uk (e.g. mail.abcplumbers.com)

Outgoing SMTP Server
mail.yourdomain.co.uk (e.g. mail.abcplumbers.com)

Username and Password
Please use the username and password that you were supplied with when you opened your hosting account. The username will usually be your entire Email address (e.g. fred@abcplumbers.com)

Anti-Spam Box
If you have requested Anti-Spam on your Email account and wish to check what the Anti-Spam filter has caught, please add /spam to the end of your username - remember to remove this afterward!

My Server Requires Authentication
You must tick this option and 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server'. This is shown below as seen in Outlook Express:
